Community
At Anglec, we believe there is nothing more powerful than a strong community. After all, our success is wholly intertwined with that of the community and the people we serve. That is why we take an active role in building and supporting our community – identifying opportunities that will have a lasting impact and thoughtfully committing our resources and our time to them.
Over the last decade, we have invested significantly in our community through showing our support in various programmes. Our motivation is simple. We do not only view our self as your electricity provider but more importantly, a neighbor in our community. And we cannot think of a better investment.
Primary School Netball Tournament
Anglec is the proud sponsors of the Primary Schools Netball Competition. As a result in our beliefs of promoting healthy bodies and sound minds we have committed ourselves to this partnership with the Primary Schools on Anguilla.
Anglec Horizons Scholarship
For the past 3 years Anglec has committed itself to the Horizons Scholarship program. The ANGLEC Horizons Scholarship was designed to assist students who are in need of financial assistance and have a record of good behavior.
This scholarship will be offered to students from all public primary schools, ranging from Grade 2 to Grade 6. Thirty Scholarships will be offered island wide.
The HORIZONS Scholarship will provide:
- Required textbooks
- Uniforms and Shoes
- Stationery
