The Anguilla Electricity Company Limited (ANGLEC) invites applications from suitable qualified candidates to fill the position of Linesman III. This position is classified in Grade III of the Company’s Organizational Structure.

Main duties & responsibilities of the position are as follows:
- Assist in installation, building and refurbishment of overhead lines up to 33kV.
- Conduct switching operations under supervision and in accordance with approved procedures and instructions.
- Install and maintain street lights as required.
- Carry out routine new connections, reconnections, disconnections and meter relocations in accordance with approved standards, specifications and procedures
- Respond to trouble calls from consumers, conduct relevant diagnoses and take corrective action in accordance with approved standards, specifications and procedures.
Qualifications/Requirements
Applicants must possess the following:
- Knowledge of the electricity industry
- Good communication skills
- Excellent team working skills
- At least four G.C.E. O Level or C.X.C Examination passes including Mathematics and English
It would be an asset to possess the following:
- Truck Driver’s license
- Experience in Transmission & Distribution related work
Remuneration is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
