Vacancy for Messenger

The Anguilla Electricity Company Limited invites applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the position of Messenger.

 

The primary functions include:

 

  • Undertake Company errands on a daily basis
  • Assist in the dispatch and moving of company goods and materials.
  • Deliver, sort and pick up interoffice mail
  • Purchase office supplies as required.
  • Perform other related duties and projects as required by the job function.

The closing date for applications is December 3rd, 2018.

 

Qualifications/Requirements

  • High School Diploma/ Certificate
  • A valid driver’s licence
  • Ability to handle and lift boxes up to 30 lbs
  • Basic skill level in Microsoft Word preferred
  • Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
  • Good communication skills, attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Able to prioritize and follow through on assignments
  • Able to follow instructions
