The Anguilla Electricity Company Limited (ANGLEC) invites applications from suitable qualified candidates to fill the position of Handyman. This position is part time.
Main duties & responsibilities :
- Clean and maintain the compound, equipment, facilities, plant and buildings at the Power Station as required
- Paint facilities on the compound as directed by supervisor.
- Provide manual assistance on the Power Station compound as required.
- Remove and transport waste material and store in the prescribed bins on the compound.
- Wash and clean all company vehicles including the undercarriage.
- Assist in the loading and unloading of equipment and water as directed by the supervisor.
- Perform other duties as required by the job function
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Proven experience as handyman
- Being highly observant.
- Ability to solve problems.
- Have good human relations.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Good time management.
- Have a positive attitude to work.
- Ability to prioritize tasks.
- Ability to follow instructions
