The Anguilla Electricity Company Limited invites applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the position of Assistant Shift Operator in the Generation Department.
Main duties & responsibilities of the position include:
- Monitor the air, water, fuel, lubricating oil levels of all auxiliary and support systems to ensure that they are within required limits.
- Report all operating abnormalities to the Senior Shift Operator and initiate corrective action as instructed.
- Start and stop generating units as instructed by the Senior Shift Operator.
- Maintain the Power Station plant and equipment in accordance with established standards.
- Respond to queries from customers.
- Perform other job duties as required by the job function

Qualifications & Experience:
- The candidate should possess four CXC Subjects including Mathematics and English
- One year’s post qualification experience in a similar position is preferred.
