CORONAVIRUS EXTERNAL PRECAUTIONARY NOTICE

 

The Anguilla Electricity Company Ltd. ANGLEC advises the public to take note of the official guidelines issued for Anguilla in relation to the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19). ANGLEC issues the following information to aid in preventative efforts in Anguilla:

Sanitation-

All ANGLEC staff are required to wash their hands once every 30 minutes minimum (more often if necessary for front facing staff). Frequently used surfaces (counter tops, door handles etc.) will also be cleaned as often as needed throughout the day in addition to regular daily cleaning.
* While these exercises may result in longer wait times, they are vital precautions to mitigate against the transmission of the Coronavirus and other illnesses.

Customer Practices-

We encourage customers to use the following options to assist in the flow of information and service:

  • For your health and that of our staff, we encourage that inquiries on billing/other ANGLEC account information be made through our online billing system (on www.anglec.com) or via call to our Customer Care Unit on 497-5200.
  • We advise those unable to pay online to avoid awaiting in line by using the check deposit box (must bring checks ONLY) located outside of the ANGLEC Main office in The Valley.
  • Get notices as soon as they are released online when you LIKE and follow the ANGLEC Facebook page via Facebook.com/AnguillaElectricity.
