The time is NOW! Go Paperless with ANGLEC today

The Anguilla Electricity Company Ltd. ANGLEC is still on the move to transition all communication, including billing to paperless and electronic methods. As previously published, the company takes this time to remind customers that the mass printing and mailing of paper bills will end as of September 2022. As such, ANGLEC has launched a campaign called the “Paperless Project,” which is set to roll out officially in September. While the project encompasses many phases that will extend into the foreseeable future, only two aspects are scheduled to take effect this year as follows;

  1. A campaign to transition all customers to ANGLEC online accounts
  2. The programming of an electronic mass communication system for email billing

Are you ready for the change? If you’re like 14% of respondents on ANGLEC’s Instagram page, you’re not yet prepared to make the paperless switch. But lucky for you and the other few respondents, there is one easy way to change that. Let’s get your residence or business set up with an ANGLEC online account today!

 Step 1: GET YOUR ACCOUNT INFORMATION

To set up an online account, you will need details such as your meter number, the last meter reading on file, your account number, and your tenant number. All the required information can be obtained from your last printed bill or via contacting Customer Care.

If you are missing any information above, please scroll to Step 3.
Step 2: SET UP YOUR ACCOUNT

This will take you to the log-in page, on which you should see a link titled “sign up for a web account” click that option to open the sign-up form. Now input all the information you gathered in Step 1 of the process.

Step 3 (Optional): REQUEST FURTHER ASSISTANCE

This step is only required if a portion of the information from step 1 can not be easily obtained (specifically the meter reading).

Please email paperless@anglec.com with a request for assistance and include in the email all the account details in your possession. Or send a message to Facebook.com/AnguillaElectricity.

For persons who are not the ANGLEC account holder or listed on the account, please attach a signed authorization letter to confirm permission for the online account to be created. The letter should include expressed consent of the account holder, contact information for follow-up if needed as well as the official signature of the account holder.
With these steps, you’ll be ready to transition to paperless with an ANGLEC online account.
